Advanced Anger Management
Again, at Cannon EInstitute, we have determined through research that everyone should have a “Bitch Budget” and a “Ballistic Episode” budget. That is, you should not express more than 3 “bitches” a month or have more than 2 Ballistic Episodes per year.
With every bitch, you must find and express 3 accolades (recognition of an attribute your significant other brings to the relationship that makes the relationship better, more beautiful, more comfortable and/or more mutually beneficial). That, by the way, will slow down the bitches which, over time, will damage the relationship irreparably.
You “Ballistics Budget” is twice per year only. Ballistic Episodes mean you have passion in your relationship. You want passion, passion properly pointed. Controlling your Ballistics is MANDATORY to maintain a MAGICAL relationship. Segment 5-1 helps you identify your “triggers” and unload your anger.
Hot buttons are issues, people, or situations that really get you worked up. They’re triggers, and if they’re pushed hard enough, they can make you explode. We call this explosion a “Ballistic Episode.” The triggers are different for everyone, but we all have them. Power buttons are controls you can use to turn on your “Be Calm Switch”, Your “Be Cool Switch” and your “Be Confident Switch”. Segment 5-2 demonstrates how to disconnect your “Hot Buttons” and effectively use your new switches.
Knowing how to disconnect your hot buttons, connect your Power Buttons and use those power buttons to get your way the easy way, and not damage your relationship, with your significant other, will ensure a foundation for making your relationship more magical.
